My name is Vicki Andress. I have been teaching for Brighton Area Schools for 30 years! Time flies when you're having fun! After receiving my bachelor's and master's degrees from Eastern Michigan University, I was hired here as a 2nd grade teacher. After five years, I moved into teaching the original multiage Brighton Elementary Magnet Program. That amazing assignment led to teaching fourth grade, where I have spent the bulk of my teaching career. Fourth grade curriculum is interesting, challenging, and fun! Best of all, fourth grade kids are awesome!
I am the proud mother of three sons: Tony, Joe, and Vinnie. I also have a beautiful granddaughter named Ella. My husband is a 6th grade advanced math teacher in Clarkston. We have a big, white cat named Lyla.
Outdoor sports are my passion. I love speed skating, cycling, and swimming. I am a Personal Trainer and fitness instructor in my "spare" time.
